Gerasa antik şehri veya bugünkü ismi ile Jerash, Amman'ın 48 km. kuzeybatısında yer alan, İncilde ismi geçen ve 6500 yıllık Roma döneminden kalan çok iyi korunmuş antik bir şehirdir.

The ancient city of Gerasa, or as it is known today, Jerash, is a very well-preserved ancient city from the Roman period of 6500 years, mentioned in the Bible, located
48 km northwest of Amman.
