İstanbulu'un Sarıyer İlçesinde bulunan Bahçeköy Kemeri(Sultan I. Mahmut Kemeri) 1731 yılında Sultan I. Mahmut tarafından Mimar Sinan'a yaptırılmış olup kemerin uzunluğu 409 metre, yüksekliği 27 metre, genişliği de 3.25 metre ve 21 gözlüdür. Yapldığı dönemde bu kemerden; Beyoğlu, Beşiktaş, Ortaköy, Galata, Kuruçeşme, Arnavutköy ve Kasımpaşa'ya su verilmiştir.
The Bahçekoy Aqueduct (Aqueduct of Sultan Mahmut I), located in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul, was built by Mimar Sinan in 1731 by Sultan Mahmut I. The length of the aqueduct is 409 meters, its height is 27 meters, its width is 3.25 meters and 21 eyes. Water was supplied to Beyoglu, Beşiktas, Ortakoy, Galata, Kurucesme, Arnavutkoy and Kasımpasa from this aqueduct during the period it was built.
