The Kidron (Jehoshaphat) Valley is on the east side of Jerusalem and between the Mount of Olives and the Temple hill, and today it is partly urbanized. According to Jewish beliefs, the name of the valley is Jehoshaphat valley and it is accepted as the place where the dead will be gathered and the final judgment will be held on the Day of Judgment (Book of Joel 3: 2,12). The tower-shaped mausoleum belonging to Absalom, whose father (Prophet David) rebelled, is depicted on the left of the Engraving. The tomb on the right of the engraving, made of a single stone, with a pyramid-shaped top, is believed to belong to Zechariah. There are also some studies on the belonging of these graves to others. The graves of Bnei Hezir, depicted in the middle of the engraving, belong to the members of the Bnei Hezir family.
