Balikli Greek Church, located in Zeytinburnu in Istanbul, was built by the Byzantine Emperor Leo I. in the second half of the 5th century. The church is also known as Panagia Pege, Panagia Topkapi or Virgin Mary. It was believed that the patients who drank from the healing water flowing from the fountain inside the Balikli Greek Church or who bathed in this water were cured.
