Yali Mansion (Cebeciler Mansion) was built by Sultan Beyazıt II. on the side of Topkapi Palace in Istanbul facing Galata. The mansion was rebuilt by Sultan Murat III. in 1592. It was demolished in 1869 along with the surrounding buildings during the construction of the Istanbul-Edirne railway. The mansion has an important place in palace ceremonies. The sultans watched the navy from here and received goodbye and accepted the Admirals (Kaptan-i Derya) who set out on the expedition here.
