Description

In the middle of the engraving, there are piyade (infantry) boats with each end tapered and sharpened, bows with 16 or 20 oars carrying members of the Palace or Goverment Office (Bab-i Ali), and large rafts brought to the Golden Horn by passing logs cut from the Black Sea forests through the Bosphorus.
