Garipce Castle is on the Rumeli side of the Bosphorus, between Rumelikavagı and Rumelifeneri, next to the village of Garipce, opposite the Poyraz Castle on the Anatolian side. The castle was built by Mustafa IV. in 1773 by Baron de Tott.
