Circassian Hasan (1850-1876) killed 5 people, including Huseyin Avni Pasha, for accusing him of killing Sultan Abdulaziz at the government meeting held on June 15, 1876. He was sentenced to death in his trial held on 17 June 1876 and was executed by hanging on a mulberry tree in Beyazıt Square on the same day.
