In the engraving, the bridge, which was built between Unkapanı and Azapkapı in 1836 by Sultan Mahmut II, using all wooden materials, and named as "Hayratiye (Charity) Bridge-Mahmudiye Bridge" by the public because no toll was requested, is also depicted. Bridge was demolished in 1912 for the construction of a new bridge. There is also the Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque, built in 1578 by Mimar Sinan, located in the Azapkapı district, to the left of the engraving.
