Ahmet III. Fountain is located between the Sultan's (Padişah) gate of Topkapi Palace (Babi Humayun) and Hagia Sophia. Fountain was built by Sultan Ahmed III. in 1728 by Architect Ahmet Ağa. Fountain is one of the most precious examples of Turkish Rococo style. Sultan's (Padişah) Gate (Babi Humayun) is one of the three ceremonial gates of Topkapi Palace. It was built by Fatih Sultan Mehmed in 1478. Bab means door in Ottoman Turkish. Humayun means belonging to the sultan (Padisah). In the engraving, the exit of the Sultan (Padisah) from the Sultan's (Padişah) Gate (Babi Humayun) is also illustrated.
