Summer Palace Of The Sultan (Besiktas Palace) was a wooden palace built at different times and composed of various mansions. The palace was used as a summer palace by the Sultans. Some parts of the Palace were changed to French architect and painter Antoine Ignace Melling by Sultan Selim III. It was demolished by Sultan Abdülmecid in 1843 and Dolmabahce Palace was built in its place. In addition, on the upper part of the engraving, there are Bayıldım Pavilions, which were built during the reign of Mahmud I.
