Bakras Castle, located near Bakras (Otencay) Village on the foothills of Nur (Gavur-Amanos) Mountains, is on a steep hill. The castle, which was built in the Roman period in order to control the Anatolian-Syrian road, was also repaired and used in the Ottoman period. The castle still maintains its general appearance today. Karamurt Inn was built by Suleyman the Magnificent in 1552. The inn served the Ottoman Army and passga passengers for many years. Karamurt Inn, which has only a few walls left today, is not depicted in the engraving.
