Ulu Mosque is located near the Ata Bridge of Antakya and on the edge of the Orontes (Asi) River. Ulu Mosque was built in the 16th century during the Mamluk period. It is the oldest and largest mosque in Antakya as of the period it was built. There is information in the inscriptions that the mosque and its minaret were repaired several times during the Ottoman period.
