Misis Bridge, located on Ceyhan River in Yakapınar town of Ceyhan district of Adana, is known as Anatolia's first Roman Bridge.IV century Roman Emperor II. It was built by Flavius Julius Costantinus with a length of 130 meters, a width of 6.5 meters and a width of 9 eyes. The bridge in the ancient city of Misis is also called the bridge of immortality. It is believed that Lokman Hekim dropped the paper on which the formula of the medicine of immortality was found, to the Ceyhan River while passing through this bridge. The bridge is still open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
