Xanthos, located in the valley of the Xanthos River (Eşen River), is the capital of the Lycian Federation. In this engraving originating from Charles Texier, 6 types of warehouses used in the ancient cities and countryside of Xanthos during the Lycian Federation period are depicted. Especially the 4 and 6 combined structures are used for product storage and wooden warehouses found in many regions of Anatolia are depicted. The others seem to be specific to rural environments rather than urban environments. On the other hand, in a similar engraving originating from Charles Fellows in 1841 and printed by George Scharf in London and by John Murray in London, the 1, 2 and 3-structured structures are implemented by the Turks, while the 4, 5 and 6-structured structures are implemented by the Greeks.
