The Gümüşkesen Tomb Monument, located in the necropolis area of the ancient city of Mylasa (Milas) (today's Gümüşkesen area), was built during the Roman period between 160-180 AD. It is considered a small copy of the Bodrum (Halicarnossos) Mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the world, in terms of its architectural features. The Gümüşkesen tomb monument is built of gray-white marble and has a total height of 8.45 m.
