During the Anatolian Seljuk State, there was a castle surrounded by walls around Alaeddin Hill in Konya and inside this castle was the Alaeddin Kiosk (Seljuk Palace) as the administrative center of the state. After the collapse of the Anatolian Seljuk State, it was used during the Ottoman Empire until the 17th century, but the kiosk was later demolished. The last remaining parts of the kiosk can be seen in the front part of the engraving. In addition, the Alaeddin Mosque, built on Alaeddin Hill in 1221 during the Anatolian Seljuk State, is the largest and oldest mosque in Konya.
