Davut Pasha Field was the first gathering and accommodation place of the Ottomans during the campaigns in Rumelia of the Ottoman Empire. The Sultan's Imperial Tent was established here and the imperial flags were erected here. If the Sultan was not personally participating in the campaign, this field was built and he would send off the army from the Imperial Tent and meet them here on their return, and stay here during the ceremonies. Davut Pasha Field is currently located within the Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus.
