Tomak game is one of the palace games of the Ottoman Empire and was included in the training program of the janissary quarry. The tomak used in the game consists of a flat hard ball made of leather sheath wrapped on compressed snow felt and a knitted handle and handle in the form of a whip. The handle of 70-80 cm long is knitted from six thong wraps. The aim of this sport, which is played with two teams of six people, is to get out of the game by hitting the opponent's back with a tomak. This play, which was played in a wide open area, was played in the presence of the sultan and his foreign guests, accompanied by drums and trumpets, within the scope of festivals. Today, although it is still played in some provinces, it is played mostly in village weddings with objects such as belts and trouser belts, without being bound by the real rules
