The Kamchatka people live in the Kamchatka Peninsula, located at the far end of northeastern Siberia in Russia, while the Moksha people, a Ural tribe, live in the central and western parts of the Republic of Mordovia, an autonomous republic affiliated with Russia. Kazan Tatars, one of the main ethnic groups that make up the Tatar people and descended from the Kipchak branch of the Turks, currently live in the Republic of Tatarstan, affiliated with Russia.
