Description

A scene from the novel The Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser is depicted on engraving. The engraving depicts the Fairy Queen Prince Arthur's encounter with Amoret and Aemylia in the forest where he escaped from a brutal assailant, and the three of them spend the night in Sclaunder's hut where the old witch watches over them.
