Description

The Ernazar Elçi Madrasa was a lost madrasa (Islamic school) located in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. It was built in the 1780s during the reign of the Uzbek ruler Daniyal-biy, with funds donated by Catherine the Great as a token of respect for Irnazar Maksud ugli (Ernazar Elçi), the ambassador to the Emirate of Bukhara. It was demolished in the 1960s during the Soviet era, and a small park was built in its place.
