Medinet Habu is the general name given to the temple complex built in memory of Pharaoh Ramses III. This important structure is located in the area known as Medinet Habu on the west bank of Luxor, Egypt. The temple is a very valuable architectural work from the New Kingdom period and was built after Ramses III's death to perpetuate his cult. Today, it is considered one of the best-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt, with its battle scenes, ceremonial depictions, and reliefs.
