The Temple of Kom Ombo is an ancient Egyptian temple located in the town of Kom Ombo in southern Egypt, on the banks of the Nile River. The temple was built in the 2nd century BC during the Ptolemaic Dynasty. The name Kom Ombo means "City of the Gods," and its ancient name was Ombos.
